Common Errors to Check

  • Your Shapefile is zipped
    • Right click, zip (on Windows) or compress (on Mac)
  • You're not trying to upload a PDF or DWG file.
    • We called it "Shapefile upload" for a reason 😉
  • You're only including the site boundary polyline
  • You're only exporting 2D polylines
    • Exports from CAD often default to 3D polylines
  • Your coordinate system is EPSG:4326 / WGS84
    • Unless your site is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, this is a coordinate system error.
