How to Upload your Template
Upload a template to make it available in SchemeFlow.
Steps
Uploading changes to an existing template
- Open SchemeFlow. You should see the Home page by default.
- If not, click the back button in the top-left corner.
- Open SchemeFlow and go to the Templates page.

- Click Manage Templates.

- Find the template you’ve made changes to.
- Make sure the Word document you want to save is currently open and the SchemeFlow sidebar is visible.
- Click Save to upload the updated version of the template.

Uploading a new template
- Go to the Templates page and click New.
- Choose the template type:
- Generative Template
- Prepared by SchemeFlow
- Includes maps and content controls
- Allows maps to pre-populate the report
- Enables adding content via the SchemeFlow sidebar
- Standard Template
- A regular Word template
- Does not include SchemeFlow maps or content controls
- If uploading your own report, select Standard. This will create a new section where you can upload your template.

- Ensure the template document you want to upload is open with the SchemeFlow sidebar visible.
- Save the template to add it to SchemeFlow.
Notes
- Always confirm the correct document is open before saving or uploading a template.
- Editing or removing SchemeFlow tags or content controls may break template functionality.
