Buffer Zone

Steps

1. Click Add Layer, then select Buffer Zone. Buffer zones will be generated around the site boundary.

2. Open the buffer zone settings to configure the buffers:
• Set the distance of each buffer
• Choose the number of buffer zones

3. To style the buffer zones, click a buffer zone on the map. This opens the styling menu, where you can:
• Change the fill colour
• Adjust the fill opacity
• Change the outline colour
• Adjust the outline width
• Select the outline style

4. To remove buffer zones or delete the entire buffer zone layer, click the Cog icon.

5. When you’re ready, click Update to insert the map into the document.

6. To save the buffer zone styling, click the Paint Brush icon and select Company Styles.

Notes

• Buffer zones are always generated relative to the site boundary.

• Changes are not applied to the document until Update is clicked.
